Forced Insomnia (Post #1)

This is the first blog I have ever done. Basically, I thought it would be a good idea to write out my experiences throughout my college career. I tend to keep a lot of things to myself. So, by starting this blog I hope to be able to better express myself and also keep a few people entertained with the drama that goes on in my life. To all who read this: I sincerely hope you enjoy it. Feel free to post comments and suggestions. I have a feeling I'll be in need of some advice in the months to come.

I have spent the last 44 hours or so awake. I've had a busy weekend with my girlfriend and her friend coming all the way across state in Minnesota to Wisconsin to stay with me for a couple of days. My parents were gone over for a night so I decided to throw a kegger at their house. The party seemed to be a success until the next morning when I realized someone had jacked my iPod. I consider myself to be a forgiving person. Sure I was upset over having it stolen but I was sure I would get over it. A few hours later my girlfriend realizes someone rummaged through her purse that same night and took all the cash she had brought with her. Just as I was about to call the person I assumed was responsible for the stolen cash my parents drove in the driveway. They completely caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting them home for an hour or so yet. I scrambled to clean up the most obvious of the party mess but I forgot one key item: the empty bottle of UV sitting on the kitchen counter. I thought for sure my rents were going to be furious. To my surprise they both kind of shrugged it off and carried on with their day. That night I had to work 11pm-7am at a hotel about 20 minutes from my house. I was never going to make it through the night so I took an adderall to keep me up. The next day after my shift (yesterday) I came home and snuggled with my girlfriend for an hour or so before she and her friend had to return home. She left me an adderall so I could make it through tonight. I was going to sleep during the day but I became very busy with installing a stereo system in my car. Time got away from me and before I knew it I had to shower and head into work. On the way I popped the last adderall she had left me. 7 hours later I'm sitting here starting my first ever blog entry. I'm so behind at work right now but I really don't care. Summer is almost over and I plan on heading home to shower and then west to Minnesota to meet her family for the first time. No sleep for me until I get there... if I get there. I hope I don't pass out on the 5 hour drive from central Wisconsin to the Twin Cities area. Well I best get back to work. I'll do my best to keep blogging this week.

Thanks much for reading (if anyone does),
K. J. Cheese
